Elanora Library is a large, contemporary facility offering a wide range of library services and resources.
It was designed using ecologically-sustainable principles, with features including energy-efficient lighting, greater use of natural light, rainwater storage, solar hot water and use of outside air for warming and cooling the building.
Elanora Library first opened on the corner of Guineas Creek Road and Coolgardie Street in 1989. It moved to its current purpose-built site adjoining The Pines Elanora shopping centre in 2007. Find out more about the history of our libraries on our Gold Coast Stories website.
