Access to information and resources
We provide access to a huge range of information and resources, both in libraries and online. Our online homework help resources are grouped to assist with core study areas. Login using your library membership number and PIN for 24/7 access from anywhere.
You can also use our free online Ask a Librarian service to submit a research request, membership or other enquiry. Responses are usually via email.
Our team is always keen to build relationships with schools. We assist learning by highlighting resources that support the curriculum, complementing your school's own resources. Please contact your nearest library for assistance.
Gold Coast history
Our Local Studies Library is the best place in the city to learn about the Gold Coast, past and present, with a unique collection of resources including vintage photographs and stories of places and people. Need a guest speaker on local history or inspiration for a display? Our librarians regularly visit schools to share the history of our city with students and teachers, and have developed a diverse range of presentations suitable for students at all levels.
Our Special Needs Library (based at Nerang Library) has a range of resources that support developmental and rehabilitation needs such as fine and gross motor skills, speech and language skills. Teachers working in Special Education units can access these resources.
