Gold Coast Libraries will be closed on Monday 26 April for the Anzac Day public holiday, and again on Monday 3 May for the Labour Day holiday.
Gold Coast Libraries are open for longer on weekdays and weekends from Monday 19 April. See the Our libraries page for the latest opening hours of your library.
Queensland Health requires that everyone entering a library, regardless of age, provides their contact details in case contact tracing is needed. Please bring your library card with you for borrowing, and for entry and exit to the library while COVID-19 contact tracing requirements are in place. If you're feeling unwell, please don't visit our libraries.
It is also a current requirement of Queensland Government that anyone in Queensland wears a mask in indoor spaces. To enter our libraries, you must wear a mask unless you have a medical condition, or you are a child under 12 yrs old. For further advice and updates see qld.gov.au/health
While in our libraries, please follow directional signage, maintain good hand and respiratory hygiene and practice physical distancing. Capacity limits are in place, with all Queensland public libraries bound by the one person per 2 square metres rule. During COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to provide some services. Please check with your local library for more details. We thank you for your understanding and assure you that Gold Coast Libraries remains committed to the health and wellbeing of our customers, staff and the wider community.
