Parking permits may be available for people who regularly park within the city's regulated parking areas and timed parking sections of road, as indicated by directional signs (conditions apply).

Parking permit renewals: Parking permits are valid for one calendar year from 1 January to 31 December. If you have no change of details and no renewal fee to pay, you can renew your permit using one of the methods described on our Permits & licensing renewals page.
Eligible residents can apply for a permit to park in a Traffic Area.
Eligible residents living in a Traffic Area can apply for a permit to allow visitors to park.
This permit allows eligible commercial vehicles to park in commercial loading zones for up to 30 minutes (unless otherwise signed).
Volunteers and unpaid carers who provide care or assistance to a person in a time-limited parking area may be eligible to apply for this permit.
This permit is available for eligible carers who are contracted to, or employed by, an approved home care service provider.
Eligible residents can apply for an annual permit to park in stadium Traffic Areas on event days.
